TL; DR – A versatile pattern ROCKS!

This is my fourth Kielo Wrap Dress from Named Patterns. I had always been enamored with one sample dresses, done in a floral print. When I saw this lovely pastel violet jersey knit from Mood (ON SALE!), I knew that a) I was going to buy it and b) it was going to be a Kielo.

I didn’t have quite enough fabric to make it a full-length dress, but that’s fine. I also decided to shorten the sleeves, rather than make it sleeveless. As soon as I put it on, I didn’t want to take it off. So this dress works with heavier knits, like ponte, or lighter ones like jersey. I have fall/winter versions AND spring/summer versions and they are all lovely and comfortable.

I also love how I can get it done in a few hours in the afternoon.

I may yet convince myself to make the jumpsuit version…
