TL; DR – Still a great pattern that I should reach for more.

Gingham. It can be…a lot. Like, a lot a lot. And I still had a bunch of the stuff from the local buy-nothing group. So I decided to try another Asteria Dress. I’m really glad I wrote the post about it which reminded me that I needed to do a broad back adjustment, which I did.

I also rounded the neckline and finished it with bias tape rather than facing. The bodice fit is so perfect and I absolutely love how it turned out. Now that I remember how good the fit is, I’m making this dress again!

(An aside, I hope Jennifer Lauren is ok – she hasn’t updated her socials in a couple of year. I love her curve range of patterns. At least the site is still live. Anyway, hope you’re ok, Jennifer!)
