TL; DR – FABRIC MATTERS!

I made my first Judy in a really stiff, mid-weight cotton that wasn’t even long enough to get all the pieces cut properly. But I am still a sucker for a wrap/tie dress, so I got my hands on this lighter fabric on sale, and I decided I was going to try Judy again.

And, I love her!

I put sleeves on this one because of the fall vibes of the color scheme. The fabric is perfect for this dress. I think it’ll work perfectly with a cotton lawn, but man, would a single cut of this long enough to make the dress be expensive.

Anyway, if I every get a LOOOOOOOOONG piece of light woven again, this will be the dress I make.
