TL; DR – I’m in my summer caftan phase apparently.

You know when you find a fabric online and you buy a quantity, but it shows up not as one continuous piece, but instead the yardage is made up of smaller cuts? You know how you planned a dress with that fabric but now it no longer works because you have three yards and one yard, not four yards?

Yeah, that feeling.

Anyway, this happened to me with this fabric, and I was so disappointed I couldn’t bring myself to even think of doing something else with it, but it was too nice and it was calling to me, so I managed to get a Tie Dress out of it.

It’s a bit shorter so I could get it into the amount of fabric that I have, but other than that, no notes, still an easy make for a flattering summer dress that easy breezy!
