TL; DR – a pattern so nice, I made it thrice. And did my first video tutorial!
I love participating in the Make and Shares that TAUKO Magazine does. And the pattern I selected to make for Issue 14 is a really special one. I loved the NEPETA so much, I made three of them, all from table clothes lol.
The two solid colored ones are thrifted table cloths from our local buy-nothing group, and I preserved the decorative trim finishing on both of them for the sleeves and the bottom. The green patterned one is an Ikea table cloth.
The one tricky part was how the yoke and facing came together. I had to get my daughter involved to try and figure it out. And we did! So I decided to try my hand at making my first video tutorial!
Folks, they are HARD to do.
