TL; DR – Didn’t mess this one up!

First make of 2024 (that I can share right now!). I was digging through my leftover fabric pile for a different project and found this not-insignificant amount of leftover fabric from the Allium Dress I made a few years ago.

(Side-note: I still love that dress, and I will make another one eventually, but it is SO SHORT. Next time, I’m lengthening it.)

Anyway, it was a match made in heaven, between fabric and pattern. I really love the Mercer top pattern, especially made out of thicker, woven cotton. I still struggle with the sleeves, but I found a sew-a-long video, finally, so it’s better now lol.
