Pattern Review: Tie Dress from Sewing Therapy

TL; DR – A lined bodice doesn’t have to be hard.

I had the pleasure of testing the Tie Dress from Sewing Therapy that just launched today! It is a straightforward sew, ideal for lighter fabrics. It can tie either on the sides or front/back, and it can be worn (like I am) with the boat neck front OR with a V-neck (which you can’t see because it’s in the back).

The instructions are clear and I even managed to line the bodice! And I also used an iron! AN IRON! I never iron, but that’s more because the fabric was so fine that it wrinkled and shifted. I’m pretty pleased with how this turned out, and I will definitely be making it again. It’s another pattern that will allow a print to really shine.
